Candidate Endorsements September 1, 2007
This year's election is CRITICAL to the future of Ogden City. I am therefore strongly endorsing the candidates for City Council and Mayor that I feel will best meet the challenges ahead.
The candidates I have carefully chosen, will create the right LEADERSHIP TEAM to move Ogden forward in the most important ways.
I Believe These Candidates... 1) Will work together to continue our amazing redevelopment success and reestablish our economic base.
2) Will work hard to drastically decrease criminal activity in our community.
3) Will focus on positive change and active communication rather than political in-fighting.
I Recommend the Following Candidates: Mayor Matthew Godfrey - Mayor
Royal Eccles - At-Large Seat C
Blaine Johnson - At-Large Seat A

A big part of that commitment is informing each member of my constituency
about the important issues that are effecting our great city and request
feedback from any who would give it.
Therefore, I have created this web site to better educate each constituent
regarding the many important issues Ogden faces and to solicit as much
feedback as possible. Please let me know what you think!
I welcome your input, whether it is about this web-site or about the issues I
outline in it.

The City of Ogden is a beautiful place!
As a member of the City Council and as
a citizen, I have considered many times
Ogden’s historic past, the more recent
decades of economic difficulty and
Ogden’s great potential for the future. It
is important to remember the past and
the many wonderful things Ogden has
been and, at the same time, move
forward into a positive future, by taking
opportunities RIGHT NOW to help make
Ogden a place of choice.

a “can do” attitude, we must also
